The video below is of the famous canals of Xochimilco, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Xochimilco is a borough of Mexico City (Distrito Federal). Tourists board the colorful gondola-type boats locally known as trajineras for a tour of the ancient canals.

Teotihuacan, which means “The City of the Gods” (in Nahuatl language), is a large Aztec archaeological site and was one of the largest cities in the world in the pre-Columbian Americas. It is located about 50-km north of Mexico City (Distrito Federal).
