With Christmas and New Year having been and gone, there’s no time like the present to start planning a last minute spring vacation. Put a spring in your step and get over the post-Christmas blues, by looking into some fantastic destinations for your last minute escape.

It may be a little more stressful booking a last minute sojourn – particularly if you’re having to work around work and school commitments – but the savings you can make by grabbing a late deal can be huge.

Springtime is an ideal time to go off on your travels. With warmer climes without the blistering sunshine, you can enjoy watersports holidays or just chill out poolside and let your troubles drift away.

Turkey and Greece are perfect at this time of year, both boasting a favourable climate whilst offering a plethora of activities to keep you and your fellow holidaymakers busy. From water-skiing and snorkeling to sailing and kite surfing holidays, you can be sure to leave satisfied if you opt for a Greek or Turkish coastal resort.

Alternatively, for slightly milder climes, away from the beach resorts, the Italian Lakes provide plenty to be getting on with, including huge amounts of culture to enjoy and a myriad of strolls to take during your stay to help unwind.

With the spring season running until roughly May, you could catch a last minute ski deal. With many resorts still boasting great snow conditions until April, you can still make the most of a snow holiday towards the end of its season. Head for a glacial resort for reliable spring skiing if you don’t want to risk the popular winter spots, just in case you’re faced with poor snow.

Whether you decide to head for the mountains or a beach club resort this spring, take advantage of some of the fantastic last minute deals that are available to you online, to get the best value sojourn you can.
