Today (March 8th) is International Women’s Day. At Bharari, we are marking this occasion by showcasing photos of ordinary women who are extraordinary in their special way.

Shakuntala - the girl with the perpetual smile who lives in Anandwan. She is a victim of cerebral palsy by birth and cannot talk, walk or use her hands. Yet she will bring a tear in your eye when you see her beautifully threaded greeting card that she stitches using her toes.
