We are pleased to take part in the weekly Thursday Challenge series organized by SpunWithTears.com. A picture related to a new theme announced each week will be posted here. Today’s theme is the “Rich” (Money, Gold, Wealth, Expensive Things, Fancy Things, …).
We got money – for all our readers, here are 50,000 big ones…
… Vietnamese Dong (VND) that is!
Vietnam, the country with a funny sounding name for its currency – Dong – has the dubious distinction of being one of the world’s least valuable currencies. Having said that, no where can one get better value for money than in Vietnam. Purchasing Power Parity wise, Vietnam is probably not so bad.
As of today, 1 USD = 20,920 VND.
In Vietnam, an appetizing meal can be enjoyed for less than 50,000 VND. What can we get for less than 2 bucks in the US?
