Video: Teotihuacan Archaeological Site in Mexico

SubscribeFiled Under: Mexico, Videos,by Bhakti and Neeraj

Teotihuacan, which means “The City of the Gods” (in Nahuatl language), is a large Aztec archaeological site and was one of the largest cities in the world in the pre-Columbian Americas. It is located about 50-km north of Mexico City (Distrito Federal).

The video shows the city’s central avenue – Avenue of the Dead – along which are the Pyramid of the Moon (seen in the video), which is the 2nd largest in Teotihuacan, and Pyramid of the Sun (not seen in video), which is the largest in Teotihuacan and 3rd largest pyramid in the world!

Here is Bhakti’s write-up of our trip to Mexico City in मराठी: विवा मिहिको! (Viva Mexico!) – भाग १ | भाग २.
